A need arose for a throttling valve that could be electronically controlled with a very high degree of precision. Shot circuits employing meter out designs increased demand for a high speed, dynamically adjustable valve. This led to a joint development effort by Olmsted Products and Visi-Trak. Today, these same valves are supplied by OilGear.
